Hard Reset your Motorola Android Razr D1

The following guide will help you to reset Android on the Motorola RAZR D1.

The following two official processes allow your Motorola RAZR D1 back to its factory settings.

These reset Android procedures will deliver the added benefit of making your Motorola RAZR D1 rid of any active pattern lock (Second procedure) and give you back the original full speed and no pop up errors behavior, as if your Motorola RAZR D1 has been just bought (both procedures will achieve it).

  1. In your menu, go to Settings and then Backup and Restore
  2. Go to Reset Factory Data Reset phone
  3. At this point, you can select whether you want to delete all data or keep
  4. Finally, press Delete all and wait for the process to be carried out

SECOND METHOD TO RESET ANDROID ON THE MOTOROLA RAZR D1

To reset android on your Motorola RAZR Android D1 by using the emergency recovery menu please follow these other steps:

  1. Turn your Motorola RAZR D1 completely off
  2. Press the VOLUME UP button and while holding it also press the POWER button for just a second
  3. Navigate with the VOLUME keys on the maintenance menu that just appeared and select the FACTORY option.
  4. Press the POWER button to continue with the process.
  5. When a droid is displayed on your screeen, briefly press the VOLUME UP button, if all goes well you’ll see the emergency recovery menu appear.
  6. Use the VOLUME buttons to move into “Wipe data / Factory reset” and confirm with the POWER button.
  7. On the next screen,  select and confirm “Yes – Delete all user data” option with the VOLUME and POWER buttons, just as before.
  8. Wait a few minutes until the reset Android process is carried out
  9. You will return into a menu: press the POWER button to confirm the “Reboot System Now” option

If everything went OK, you just reset Android in your Motorola RAZR D1!
