Reset Android – Part 7

If you have a LG L Bello device, and are looking for a way to reset Android on it, this tutorial will help.

We will show you two ways in which  you can achieve this, and return your LG L Bello to its factory settings, leaving your device with a clean Android OS and no bugs or lags.

Please, before you start the process of reset android on your LG L Bello, make sure your battery is charged to at least 80%, to avoid and unexpected and unwanted shutdowns.

Keep in mind that you will loose all your personal data stored in your device, so, if you can, doing a backup before starting is always a good idea.

Reset android on LG L Bello using OS options.

If you have access to your devices OS and simply want to remove any lagging, or just delete everything from your LG L Bello to give it to someone else to use, for example, this is the easiest method to reset android for you. Just follow these steps and you’ll be done in no time

  • Go to Settings
  • Go to Backup & Reset
  • Select Factory data reset
  • Select Reset Phone
  • Read all warnings and select Erase everything

And you’re done!

Reset Android on LG L Bello using hardware buttons

If you forgot the lock pattern of your LG L Bello or it’s malfunctioning for any other reason that will not let you have access to the Applications Menu, this is the method to reset Android that will work for you:

  • Make sure your device is completely turned off.
  • Press the Volume Down
    button, and without letting go, press the Power button.
  • When the LG logo shows up, release both buttons and press them again.
  • If the phone restarts itself normally, try the same steps again, but just let go of the power button, while keeping the volume down button still pressed.
  • When the Factory data reset screen shows, release both buttons.
  • Use the volume buttons to navigate to the YES option, and the power button to select.

And you’re done! Your LG L Bello should now have a clean android OS, like just out of the box, and you have successfully reset Android!

Are you the owner of an Acer Liquid X1 that you wish to reset Android on?

This is the tutorial you need to remove any lock pattern you maybe have forgotten, or return the Acer Liquid X1 to it’s factory settings, and so removing any errors or lagging.

There are two ways to reset Android, and we will explain both step by step.

Before starting with any of the two methods, please make sure your battery is charged to at least 80%.

Bear in mind that when you reset Android you will loose all your personal configuration, installed apps and media. If you can, it’s a good idea to do backup at this point.

First method to reset Android on your Acer Liquid X1

With this method you will be able to remove lagging and some errors that your OS might have, by doing a reset Android on your Acer Liquid X1. Just follow these easy steps:

  • Go to the Applications Menu -> Settings
  • Go to Backup & Reset
  • Tap on Factory Data Reset
  • Select Reset Phone 
  • Tap on Erase Everything, and your Acer Liquid X1 will start the reset Android process.

Second method to reset Android on your Acer Liquid X1

If you have forgotten the lock pattern of your Acer Liquid X1 or can’t access the OS of your phone for some reason, you will use this method to reset android.

  • Turn off the phone completely
  • Press the Power button, and when you feel it vibrate, press the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons without letting go.
  • Let go of the buttons when a menu shows up on the screen
  • Use the volume buttons to navigate through the options and select Clean Book -> yes. Use the power button to confirm the selection
  • At this point your Acer Liquid X1 will restart itself and when it comes back it will be as out of the box, ready for new settings.

You’re done! You have now successfully reset Android on your Acer Liquid X1 device!

In this tutorial we will show you two ways to reset Android on the Motorola Moto G Dual SIM. Which procedure you use will depend on the current state of your device.

If you have access to the Applications Menu of your Motorola Moto G Dual SIM, you can use the first method. You would use this method if your device works ok, but you noticed that it’s lagging, or you simply want to give it a fresh start, returning it to it’s factory settings.

You will use the second method if your Motorola Moto G Dual SIM has stopped responding, or you have lost or forgotten the lock pattern you previously set.

Remember that when you reset Android you loose all your personal data, including contacts, messages, and any applications you may have installed, so, if possible, do a backup of all your data before starting with any of the procedures.

Also make sure the battery of your Motorola Moto G Dual SIM is charged to at least 80%, to avoid any unwanted shut-downs mid-process.

Reset Android on Motorola Moto G Dual SIM via the Applications Menu

You will use this method to reset Android if you have access to the Applications menu of your Motorola Moto G Dual SIM device. To go through with the procedure, just follow these steps:

  • Go to the Applications Menu
  • Enter Settings
  • Go to Backup & Reset
  • Tap on Reset Phone
  • If you want to delete all personal data, press Erase all data
  • Read all notices and confirm

In a few minutes your Motorola Moto G Dual SIM will restart, as good as out of the box.

Reset Android on Motorola Moto G Dual SIM using hardware buttons.

This method to reset Android will be used if you have lost access to the Motorola Moto G Dual SIM’s OS, for whatever reason, for example if you forgot the Lock Pattern.

  • Completely turn off your device.
  • Press the Volume Down button and the Volume Up button together and then, without letting go of the volume buttons, press the Power button
  • Let go of all buttons and a menu will show.
  • Using the Volume Down button, navigate to the option Recovery, and press the Volume Up button to confirm the option.
  • You will see the Android logo, and at this time hold the Volume Up button a few seconds, and without letting go of the Volume Up button, click and let go of the Power button.
  • navigate to the Wipe data/Factory reset option, and press the Power button to select this option.
  • Tap on Yes – delete all user data, if that’s what you want to do, and confirm using the power button.

Sidenote: On some devices this is not enough to do a reset Android. If this is your case, select Apply update from ADB, and then  you’ll see the option Yes – delete all user data

You’re done! You should now have reset Android and your Motorola Moto G Dual SIM should be back to it’s factory settings, ready for new settings.
